ch34ter was made for the Community Game Jam 2019, with the theme of "The Game is a Liar". My idea was to use a chrome extension I saw demoed at DEFCON 2019. This would allow players to manipulate the memory in the web assembly of the game, leading to really novel mechanics.
This was my second game jam and I got 27th in innovation out of the 1008 entries! (I think it should be even higher, cause a lot of games scored above me with very little total reviews). Either way, this was super cool for such an early entry from me! I ran out of time when developing to implement sound, so that brought my overall score down by a lot. Additionally, while the game is super interesting, it does very little to explain how to use CETUS, the chrome extension. I added a tips system the player could use, but it wasn't very profound.
